Hi, I’m Mate. I’m a Principal Data Scientist at QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey. I currently work on the GenAI Labs product team as a Co-Tech Lead and AI Engineer, building a platform for creating, observing, and collaborating on agentic workflows in client projects.

Previously, I spent six years as a Forward Deployed Data Scientist, delivering machine learning and analytics programs across multiple client projects.

I care about doing work that has a meaningful impact, continually improving my engineering craft, and working alongside talented, inspiring people.

Outside work, I’m a long-time tennis player, a hobby runner, a husband, and a dad to two beautiful boys.
